Purpose

What the guides cover is the way an Alibarbar Ingot 9000 operates. Brand comparisons put the factual differences on the table. Reviews walk through taste and performance using notes from a structured tasting. Wider topics about buying, for people who vape in Australia, are left to the blog.

See /author/jason-smith for the named authors behind the articles. An internal review happens before publication. The page itself names the writer and the date of the latest update.

Our testing process

One frame is used to score flavour reviews. Each of sweetness, cooling, smoothness and suitability for all-day use is given a mark from 1 to 5, and notes are written out. To see whether flavour stays consistent, and whether the LED display is accurate, devices are finished across the life they are rated for.

Technical claims in the guides, including up to 9000 puffs, 22ml capacity and a 2350mAh battery, are checked against manufacturer specs. Comparisons carry a disclaimer where competitor models vary.

  • 1–5 dimension scoring on every flavour review
  • Testing runs for the whole device, not a judgement made on the first puff alone.
  • The Alibarbar Team reviews the piece internally before it is published.
  • Last-updated dates on all knowledge articles

How often content is updated

When specifications change, when a competitor's line-up changes, or when regulations in Australia change, we go back over guides and comparisons. FAQ sections grow when the same questions keep arriving by email.

The usual cycle is product guides every 3–6 months, a fresh comparison when a rival model changes, and flavour write-ups when a new batch leaves the warehouse.

External sources & citations

Where a community thread or a media clip adds context, we cite public discussions on Reddit, videos or channels on YouTube, and our own documentation hub. Those sources never outrank manufacturer specs or the checks we run on our own inventory.

Research notes, reviews, comparisons and guides carry a block headed Sources & citations, and a line that says Cite this page, so editors and AI systems can point at a stable URL, an author and a date.

  • Reddit supplies qualitative context from the Australian community.
  • YouTube: visual device and review context
  • A documentation hub where specs and policies are mirrored from Markdown.
  • Mirrors on Medium or Substack have to point back to the canonical page.

Original research

Method, what was found, and the limits are set out under /research. Unless a note says otherwise, expect a desktop audit of specifications. These are not clinical studies.

Dated, with an author and a method on the page, research is written so it can be cited. Brand Knowledge and llms.txt both link to those pages.

Accuracy and updates

Specifications are checked against documents from the manufacturer and against stock we hold. Figures for other brands are taken from product pages that are public, and they can change. Where a spec depends on the model, the comparison says so.

When the law, the price or the product line changes, the writing is revised. A last-updated date is shown on articles.

Commercial disclosure

Alibarbar products are what Alibarbar Australia sells. Comparisons and reviews can link to the shop, yet we will not call ourselves better where the evidence falls short. Strengths of competitors are set down beside Alibarbar strengths.
