Alibarbar Custom Pack vs Singles — Which Should You Buy?

Written by Jason SmithReviewed by Alibarbar Team

Same device, different order format

A single is a sealed Alibarbar Ingot 9000. So is each slot inside a custom pack. Shared specs: puff ceiling up to 9000, varying with use; 22ml; 2350mAh; mesh coil; smart LED. Buying a pack only changes the count, and which versions of the e-liquid are shipped.

Price comparison (catalogue)

Current AUD catalogue values:

  • 1 Ingot 9000 single: A$39 (A$39.00 per device)
  • 5-pack: A$175 (A$35.00 per device)
  • 10-pack: A$299 (A$29.90 per device)
  • 20-pack: A$560 (A$28 per device)

Shipping changes the maths

Regular Post costs A$10 when the order is 1–19 devices, and nothing at 20 or above. A single device on its own pays A$10 to post; a pack of 20 does not. Put postage into the comparison when you set a few singles against one bundle.

When singles win

Three cases: Peach Ice is already a daily flavour and only a replacement is needed; checkout is being tested at the lowest spend; or one flavour is a gift for a person who named it outright.

When custom packs win

Photos will not let you rank ten flavours when Alibarbar is new to you. You want more than one flavour in the house. You reorder often enough that, across a quarter, saving on each device in a 10-pack or a 20-pack actually matters.

Starter mixes are suggested in the full pack guide at /guides/alibarbar-custom-pack-guide-australia.

FAQ

Does buying a custom pack cost less than buying singles?

Against Ingot 9000 singles at A$39, the 5-pack is A$35 a device. The 10-pack is A$29.90 a device and the 20-pack is A$28, which is where the saving is largest.

Can one pack hold both iced flavours and flavours with no ice?

Absolutely. Building contrast is a core reason to pick a custom pack, rather than locking yourself into five iced sticks that are all the same.
